CO3 acquires Kinver: from where your trucks are to where your cost sits

Berlin and Oslo, 4 November 2026. CO3 Technologies GmbH has acquired 100% of Kinver AS, the Norwegian software company that turns freight data into cost, service-level and emissions intelligence. Kinver's products and team join the CO3 platform. Lars Fredrik Eriksen, Kinver's founder and CEO, joins CO3 as VP Commercial.
Until today, CO3 showed its customers where their trucks are. With Kinver, it shows them where their cost sits. It is CO3's first add-on since its 2025 spin-out from sennder, and it moves CO3 from a real-time visibility provider to the data platform for road freight and construction.
Two halves of freight data, joined for the first time
Road freight runs on two data streams that have never been joined at scale.
The first is operational: where the truck is, when it will arrive, how long the driver can still drive, what the temperature in the trailer is, what happened during the trip. CO3 built this side. Its single API normalises live data from more than 350,000 trucks, trailers, telematics devices and cooling units across 35 countries, more than 215 million unique data points every day.
The second is financial: subcontractor assignment, service levels and pricing. In other words, what was agreed and what was billed. Kinver built this side. Its products match freight invoices against contracted rates and service levels, and its 57 TMS and ERP integrations give it a direct read on what customers were charged and what they were promised.
Together, the platform covers every data point of a freight shipment: more than 350,000 connected assets and more than 600 third-party integrations across 35 countries.
From real-time visibility to financial control
Today, real-time visibility lets teams read and act on GPS position, ETA, regulatory driving time, temperature and asset status across their network.
With Kinver's data, those real-time events can now be matched automatically against every service level agreement, invoice and surcharge claim. A late arrival stops being only an ETA alert. It becomes evidence against the SLA and the invoice that follows.
In the long run, the same context lets AI agents file claims, dispute invoices, recover cost and take the best operational decisions for the network.
What the founders say
"Every large-scale operation will only be as good as the context it acts on. Over the past years we have built the operational truth of road freight and construction: what actually happens to 350,000 assets every day. Kinver adds the other half, what was agreed and what was billed. Together, that is the data platform freight has been missing. It moves us from showing customers where their trucks are to showing them where cost sits in their network."
Nicolaus Schefenacker, CEO of CO3
"We founded Kinver to give shippers certainty on what they pay for freight. The limit was always evidence: you can only audit what you can prove. CO3 brings the proof, live data from the vehicles themselves. Joining CO3 lets us scale our audit logic across a far larger data foundation and customer base."
Lars Fredrik Eriksen, Founder of Kinver, now VP Commercial at CO3
